Exhibit Your Artwork

Each year Arts Bonita presents a dynamic and wide-ranging selection of exhibitions which both appeal to and enlighten our membership and visitors.

While some exhibitions feature member, faculty or student artists from our own community, other shows feature traveling exhibitions from national institutions in the U.S. or artworks from around the world.

Our schedule provides events that focus on a particular theme, medium or concept. The Summer features regional artists, October features a traveling exhibition, and February features our Annual Members Exhibition.

The jury process for all open call exhibitions occurs online via our online application form. Artists should photograph their artwork prior to starting the application. Please refer to the link below for instructions on uploading artwork.

  • VOICES THROUGH ABSTRACTION

    April 18 - May 16, 2024

    A themed open call exhibition.

    Voices through Abstraction is a juried competition open to 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional abstract artwork in any media. Abstract art is created by removing the usual references and making visible that which is not easily seen. It embodies flexibility and freedom, with a boldness or perhaps absence of color. Line, pattern, form, and composition are still elements that are employed. Mark making becomes unique and compelling. The viewer is offered an opportunity to experience a range of ideas and emotions by creating a “voice through abstraction.

  • CALL OF THE WILD

    June 6 - July 18, 2024

    A themed open call exhibition.

    This open call exhibition invites artists to submit works that explore our love of the natural world - in a way that celebrates the wondrous variety of flora and fauna that surrounds us. Artwork can feature depictions of nature from the wider perspective of a landscape, to an up-close and personal study of plant and animal species.

    The intention of this exhibition is to draw attention to the beauty and delicacy of our environment and all that which inhabits it.

    Artwork in all media types welcome.

    Open to 2-D and 3-D works.

    Submission Deadline: Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 11pm
    Artist Drop off: Friday, May 31,  12-4pm
