Dear Friends,

With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Marie Tranovich, a cherished friend, former chairman of the board, and dedicated member of Arts Bonita. Marie Cora Tranovich (nee Evans) passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023, in her current residence in Bonita Springs, FL, as a former resident of Cinnaminson, NJ. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (affectionately known as Mamuska), great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many who held her dear.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Marie attended Nazareth Academy and met her wonderful husband, Stephen, at Drexel University. Their enduring love resulted in 68 years of marriage. Marie dedicated herself to raising five children and enjoyed creating lasting memories at their lake house at Lake Wallenpaupack, PA.

In celebration of Marie's lifelong commitment to the arts, we have established the Marie Tranovich Art Fund. This fund will support students in need annually and contribute to developing new Visual Arts Programs at Arts Bonita. While we will all miss Marie dearly, we will forever treasure the joyful memories of her laughter and the warmth she shared with us. We invite you to join us in honoring our dear friend. Marie would undoubtedly appreciate the idea of all of us coming together to create opportunities for others to learn, share, and enjoy the arts.
