Master Copying, Classical Cast Study – Carol Broman

Beginners pre-req: Intro to Drawing 1 & 2 suggested

Students new to this course will copy two dimensional drawings from the Charles Bargue Drawing Course before proceeding to copying plaster casts inspired by sculptures from classical antiquity. Returning students will continue drawing from the casts with increasingly more complex subjects with the option to progress to grisaille (monochrome) painting using a 9-step value scale.

5 Wednesdays, 11/13/24 – 12/18/24, 9am-12pm. No class 11/27.
