Short Pose Figure Study – Carol Broman

(Beginners: *pre-req. Intro to Drawing 1&2 suggested) Explores the mechanics of drawing and how to establish a process that weeds out error and encourages a felt response to the model. Students will practice an effective method for drawing that abstracts and flattens the figure and focuses on the overall gestural characteristics. Concepts covered include comparative measuring techniques, plumb-lining, point-to-point drawing, enveloping and shape finding. Short poses (5-40 minutes) with live undraped model.

Model fee for 5 weeks:$63 payable day one  Drop in fee: $60 includes model fee.
